Faithfully serving coffee to Naremburn's thirty-somethings for thirty-something years, the Forsyth family doles out coffee hints, tips and know-how without drawing breath. This modest corner cafe is a warren of rooms, from education-tasting nooks and tearooms, to the unexpectedly sunny downstairs 'lab' with its own La Marzocco buzzing on weekends. A balanced, thickly textured, almondy caffe latte ($3.30) from the Ruggero by the front door is perfect with a biscuity snack, and there are new brews on the menu, so follow up, perhaps, with an experimental AeroPress. Check the dispensers for what beans are on offer and get some to go.
