Forsyth Cafe

Robert Forsyth's 25-year love affair with coffee - he's the cafe's buyer and roaster, and moonlights as an international coffee judge - is embodied by the ephemera decorating the walls of his warm and inviting lower north shore corner cafe (not to mention the mini coffee plantation outside, which is harvested for charity each year). There's a downstairs coffee den to take your long black ($3.30), which is as close to a hot chocolate as you can get without using cocoa beans or milk. Team it with a rich, tangy orange and almond cake and you have a do-it-yourself jaffa.
