Tips and race-by-race guide for Albury on Tuesday

Race 1

4. Lord Of Valor finished last at this track on debut in November before improving to finish second here before being spelled. He resumed here on the back of a good trial at Corowa and looks set to produce a good run fresh. 2. He’s Fierce has been placed in three of five starts and hit the line well when second last start at Corowa. 1. Aerial Artist ran fourth in the same race He’s Fierce contested last time out and must be considered again on that effort. 12. Vickie’s Dream finished third against He’s Fierce and Aerial Artist at Corowa and warrants respect.
How to play it: Lord Of Valor to win.

10. Hot Toddy has had plenty of chances, and has been racing well with placings at his past two starts at this track and then at Wagga. He is consistent enough and looks to have the talent to break through. 11. Iroquai has not been far away in her past three starts and only needs to maintain that form to be a leading contender. 3. Tosen Fury was placed at this track at his second race start and another bold showing would not surprise. 1. Corays Road is on debut after a trial and bears close watching.
How to play it: Hot Toddy to win.

Race 3

3. Written By Lucy is a talented mare that has four wins from 12 starts and has won three of her past four. If she can run up to her latest efforts, she should take holding out again. 5. Bessie La Belle is a consistent performer with three wins and as many placings from 11 starts and resumes here from a long spell on the back of two good trials. 7. Dreamstone is a last start winner at Wagga that has a solid record and should not be far away. 9. Altrove has not been far away of late and only needs to maintain that form to be difficult to hold out again.
How to play it: Written By Lucy to win.

Race 4

1. Lord Limerick is a talented galloper that has won his past two starts at Corowa. He’s been placed in two other runs and looks set to perform well. 2. Sorry Sunshine was a last-start placegetter at Wagga and has the ability to be in the thick of things again. 3. Sweet Treats has not been far away of late and can get into the placings. 4. Belnera was not beaten far when midfield last time out and had a string of placings before that.
How to play it: Lord Limerick to win.

Race 5

2. The Big Shamrock is resuming from a long spell and comes into this on the back of a jump out at Wodonga and a trial at Corowa. He’s a lightly raced seven-year-old with two wins and six placings from 15 starts. This looks a nice race for him. 4. Brial Rose ran well when resuming from a spell with a fourth at Wagga and can figure in the finish here. 6. Needawinna won at Echuca in March and has not been far away in three starts since. 5. I’m Airborne has been racing well of late and can make an impact again.
How to play it: The Big Shamrock to win.

Race 6

3. Noteabeel made his debut at Corowa earlier this month and raced on the speed before fighting on strongly and scoring a solid victory. He’s drawn ideally in barrier two and can go on with the job. 1. Gunz has a good record with a win and four placings from six starts. 4. Under Wraps looked strong winning by a good margin at Wagga when last produced and can go on with the job. 6. Bifurcation was a winner at Muswellbrook in April and then went to a new stable and was midfield at this track when last produced.
How to play it: Noteabeel each way.

Race 7

1. Forte Cheval is a consistent performer with two wins and five placings from just 10 starts. He scored a win at Corowa last start on the back of a second at the same track and he looks the one to hold out again. 4. Demi God has contested city races at his past two starts and was not beaten far at Canterbury when last produced. 10. Burning Issues has hit form of late with a second at this track and a win at Wagga. 13. Meet The Wife has shown some talent and can get into the minor placings.
How to play it: Forte Cheval to win.
