Let’s take a look at our latest emergency warnings across Victoria.
As of 11.40am on Sunday, residents of Shepparton, Orrvale, Mooroopna and Kialla West have been told by emergency authorities that it is too late to leave their homes.
Those in Echuca and Charlton are being urged to evacuate immediately.
Across the state there is almost 80 emergency warnings or advice notices from VicEmergency, primarily related to Victoria’s current flood event.

In Mooroopna’s normally busy main street the only sound on Sunday was rushing water. Instead of shoppers enjoying sunshine, there were kayakers on McLennan Street, the town’s main thoroughfare, and police standing watch.
Mooroopna post office owner Terry Masterson was allowed through roadblocks to inspect his business in a four-wheel drive and told The Age on the trip that this flood was the worst he had seen.
“In ’74 that chemist down there never had water in front of it. This is bigger than ’74 now,” he said.
As Masterson checked on his store, water was lapping at the front doors of many shops and homes.
The Victorian department of health has tweeted a warning for people in and around flooded areas to be on the watch for the symptoms of bacterial outbreaks like Leptospirosis which can follow floods.
The symptoms include vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain along with a cough and sore throat.
The department tweeted any one with those symptoms should see their GP as soon as possible.
Melbourne Water will review whether the controversial construction of a wall around Flemington Racecourse contributed to flooding that led to the evacuation of people from their homes in Maribyrnong on Friday.
Premier Daniel Andrews said the review would focus on the flood wall and not other concerns about the timing of evacuation warnings.
“I can confirm that Melbourne Water will conduct a thorough review of that flood event, and any impact that had. It will do that work at arm’s length from the government and will report on its progress,” he said.
Maribyrnong residents had campaigned against the wall, which was built in 2007, arguing it would direct muddy floodwater away from the natural floodplain and into their homes.
VicEmergency’s latest emergency warning for Echuca and Echuca Village contains a message that the flooding is now impacting the sewage and water systems.
The Evacuate Immediately message remains the same as earlier.

VicEmergency has issued a warning for the Bunbartha area, north of Shepparton, to Evacuate Immediately.
