Man dies while attempting to fix ride-on lawn mower

A man has died while trying to fix a ride-on mower west of Brisbane.

The man, in his 60s, died from “traumatic injuries” at the scene after he attempted to repair the machine.

Police and ambulances were called to the property in Haigslea, outside Ipswich, about 6.20pm on Thursday.

Police said the death was “non-suspicious” and they were preparing a report for the coroner.
